Unfinished jazzmaster style body. Designed to fit most Fender branded parts. This listing is for a built-to-order body that will be shipped in 3-4 weeks.

Body is lightly sanded to remove major machining marks, but will require sanding before finishes are applied.

Wiring channels are all drilled out.

Left handed versions are available for no extra charge. Message me if you want one!

WOOD GUIDE

I offer the following wood options:

• Ash - Also called northern ash, or "regular" ash.  Very prominent grain that requires filling unless you want the texture to show through.  This is the heaviest wood that I offer. Please note it is NOT swamp ash, and therefore will not be light weight.
• Alder - Good choice for lighter weight builds. It has a more muted grain and a reddish brown color.  Please note that alder is generally a very knotty wood and your body may include some knots or other inclusions. If you want an alder body clear of knots please contact me before ordering to confirm availability and price.
• Basswood - Light weight and fairly uniform plain appearance.  Popular for modern light weight builds, especially when doing solid finishes.
• Pine - Specifically southern yellow pine. Great for low cost, rustic look or solid color builds.  Southern yellow is not particularly soft so it holds screws well. These bodies usually end up on the lighter side but aren't necessarily the lightest option I offer; alder and basswood are usually lighter.  Please note that unlike the other options, my pine bodies are 9 piece blanks.  
• Poplar - A good mid weight hardwood that is easy to work and paint.  Tends to have some gray or green grain features and coloration.

All bodies except for pine are 2-4 pieces. Pine will be 7-9 pieces, although sometimes 2-4 piece bodies are available by request. If you have a specific request regarding the number of pieces, please contact me before ordering. Single piece bodies are occasionally available by request for an additional charge.
